SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (LEED-AP) Lack Construction is a values-based multidisciplinary green- and sustainable-building General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in Santa Barbara, CA. We are seeking an energetic, highly-organized, and creative full-time Senior Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate must possess integrity and enthusiasm, as well as strong leadership qualities and management skills. Since the Senior Project Manager is often the on-going point-of-contact for clients, subcontractors, architects and consultants, successful candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. This position is primarily composed of project management, but will also include some marketing and sales. The successful candidate will also have full oversight of all LEED-certified projects, so a LEED-AP accreditation for this job is required. A PMP certification would also be highly desirable. Construction Estimator Assistant We have an immediate need for an experienced Estimator Assistant. Construction Cost Estimator is expected to be able to assist in all functions of the cost estimating field including estimating, budgeting and forecasting and understanding of CPM scheduling techniques and software. This position requires technical knowledge of construction methods and ability to use cost estimating methods. It requires a bachelors degree in a related area and two (2) or more years experience in cost engineering or in a related areas including construction field engineering, contracting, claims and other industries relating to cost. The positions requires the candidate to be familiar with a variety of engineering and construction concepts, practices and procedures for a variety of disciplines such as civil, mechanical or electrical, etc.The successful candidate will be able to communicate with data suppliers such as clients, engineers, vendors and other employees to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Construction Project Manager We have an immediate need for a Sr. Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to balance multiple projects (and play nicely with others). Candidate must be willing to work in a fun and unique environment an environment that promotes growth and opportunity!!The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry or 10 years of any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position. Preference will be given to those with a BS/BA, Construction Management, engineering or architecture preferred. The candidate must be able to work with subcontractors and staff and be computer literate in MS Office, Project and Timberline. The PM must be able to conduct/attend various meetings, plan review meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, builders, property owners, and government agencies. Additionally, he/she must be able to balance multiple projects and priorities while taking a leading role in completing project on time and within budget.
